Feedback

If you had "Yes" answers in:

A. Yes! In this type of situation a coach can help you, if you want to be helped. Most people with the types of problem listed under A who have hired a coach report that their coaches have been a tremendous help to them in getting through these crises. You might even say that these are areas of specialization for the majority of coaches.

Another point is that I can honestly tell you that I have have been through most of these situations at one time or another, and have found my way out of the clouds and into the sunlight.

B. It saddens me that you seem to feel trapped in these difficult conditions.  You may find that talking with a coach would be helpful.  You do deserve a more fulfilling life, and I really believe a coach can help you to head in that direction.

C. Most people would say yes to one or more of these questions at one time or another.  You may well be able to solve these problems on your own.  However, if you can't, or if you want to deal with them more quickly than you might on your own, a coach may be the person who can help you.  Give me a call and let's check it out.

D. You don't need a coach.  In fact, you should probably BE a coach!  Call me to talk about how!

Part II

Part II uses Yes/No answers to look at your readiness to make the best use of a coach's services.
___Can you be relied upon to be on time for calls and appointments?

___Are you willing to do the work, and let the coach do the coaching?

___Do you, deep down, feel that you need to find someone, somewhere "out there," who will fix your life?

___Are you willing to try new concepts and/or different ways of doing things and of dealing with the world?

___Are you prepared to be honest with your coach?

___Are you able to let your coach know what you need, and to be clear if you are not getting what you need?

___Do you accept that no one coach is the perfect match for everyone, and that a preliminary coaching call is important as a way for you AND the coach to discover if you are a good match, as well as for you to learn more about what it is to be coached?

___Do you see coaching as a worthwhile investment in your future and in the quality of your life?

___Do you have sufficient funds to pay for coaching without suffering or worrying about the fee?

Feedback

For all questions except the third one, if you gave any "no" answers, each one should be discussed honestly with a prospective coach before a commitment to coaching is made.  For question #3, it is the "yes" answer that needs to be discussed.  A high proportion of "no" answers may indicate that you are not ready to benefit from coaching at this time.
